VR: The Future of Megacities


To run smoothly, tomorrow’s cities will rely on millions of networked sensors to monitor everything from trash collection to water quality.  I co-produced a graphical virtual reality tour of how New York City’s sensors will work in the future. This story was part of WSJ’s 2050: Demographic Destiny series, which won a Society of News Design Gold Medal, and New York Press Club and APME awards, and was selected for exhibition in the Newseum.
